When the world shows you nothing but turned faces and backs,
And your sorrows pile up like huge haystacks,
When you cry for help like a newborn child,
And yet the world remains woefully wild,
The God who poses like a man will come to you,
With the brilliance of the sun and calmness of the moon,
Guide you across the darkness holding your hand,
And drop you at God's holy feet before you even understand.

New Dawn In My Life

Sometime before about one year back
When goodness was what I used to lack

When life was nothing but an amusement park
And I was lost in the dangerous diabolic dark

When my ignorance blazed like a fiery fiendish fire
And my life was going haplessly haywire

I met the God who posed like a man
Blowing away the dirt in me like a fan

Now when I look at His picture on the wall
Standing above all. Magnificent, majestic and tall

With a divine smile and a face like a full moon
My sister calls out “Are you in front of Guruji’s photo again”
