Kumbabhishekam by His grace
Sri Bhagavatha Sapthaha in a Pillayar Temple in Thanjavur under the guidance and with the Grace of Sri Sri Swamiji was rendered during the month of June 2010. Sri Swamiji’s presence during the function expanded the divine ambiance to the highest level. I prayed to Sri Swamiji that Sri Durga mandapam is small and the priest was experiencing difficulty in entering into it and performing abishekam and puja. Immediately Sri Swamiji sat behind the Durga Mandapam for about 15 minutes in dhyanam and told me to perform Laksharchanai to Sri Vinayaka before Vinayaka Chaturthi day of 2010. Sri Swamiji told me that you can go ahead with reconstruction of the mandapam and everything will happen soon.
As advised by Sri Swamiji laksharchana was done in August 2010 and we celebrated and got a surplus of Rs.10,000/- which was receipted as Sri Swamiji’s contribution for construction of the mandapam.
During the Radha Kalayanam in November 2010 commemorating Sri Swamiji’s birth day, Sri Sattanatha Bhagavathar announced to the public the significance of Radha Kalyanam and requested their support for such programs physically and financially. There was a Hundi collection of around Rs.5100/-. We wound up the Radha Kalyana Mahothsava praying for construction of the Durga Manadapam and Kumbabishekam by renderring “Kaliyayum Balikollum”. Myself and Sri Sivaramakrishnan decided to give this hundi amount to the President of the Temple Committee Sri Kuncithapadham as Sri Swamiji’s donation for construction of the manadapam. Sri Kunchithapadam and his daughter are ardent dvotees of Sri Sri Swamiji.
I called on Sri Kunchithapadham next day morning to hand over the amount. When I told him that the hundi collection of Rs.5100/- during Radha Kalyanam is being given as contribution from Sri Swamiji for construction of Durga Manadapam, both Sri Kunchithapadam and his daughter Miss.Rani looked at each other with amazement but in silence. Immediately Sri Kunchithapatham asked his daughter to tell me what he told her just half an hour before. She said, “My father just shared with me this morning about the dream he saw in the early hours of this morning. Sri Swamiji handed over to him Rs.5000/- and told him to go ahead with Mandapam work. Now your are handing over a sum of Rs.5100/- as contribution from Sri Swamiji.” Both of them told me the horripulating experience thus.
Initially we were short of funds but subsequently many charitable people substantially contributed and the Mandapam was completed and Kumbabishekam performed. It was all through the grace and blessings of Sri Swamiji.
