Pranams Guruji
The glimpse of the video presentation of the Baghavata Saptaham in Guruvayoor is excellant. I wish it would go on for a longer duration. I just cannot wait for the full video coverage to be released. The music and the Kirtans still reverberate in my ears. Well done!! Namadwar team!! Thanks once again.

Jai Gurunath !
Sri Sri Guruji's recent answer on 'Kamsa and heavenly voice' is not a mere justification statement for the bare eyes but qualified for the in-depth analysis.
Let us take a closer look on this answer. It’s generally agreed "The path of spiritual journey starts from the fear of death". This fact is also been voiced in upanishad and puranas.
We often hear the following sayings from the discourses.
'Have you ever considered the life after death?'
“You are responsible for your deed after your death and you cannot escape from that.’
'You may be afraid to stay or even visit the burial ground now. But what would you do when your relatives taken your body to that very place after your last breath? "
Yes!!! Mostly the fear of death and the subsequent causation triggers the person to enter into spiritual journey as a preventive measure.
Kamsa is not an exception and in fact most of us are entering into this spiritual journey only due to this ‘fear of death’ factor.
However the positive disparity between Kamsa and us would be he had developed intense animosity towards Krishna but we tend to develop intense devotion towards Krishna.

Our Indian epics and puranaas are really valuable and enriched with lot of abstract facts and informations. We all, guruji's devotees are really gifted to know about these things with our Guruji's unlimited knowledge and his way of exploring things. Indeed we come to know that if we think God even with whatever emotional dimensions we are going to finally reach his feet, Only thing what is required is The Guru's or the God's grace. Jai Gurudev! Radhe Krishna!

Pranams to Swamiji
Typically a special answer from sri swamiji. Thinking in hindsight this may be what they call "BhayaBhakthi". This also shows the greatness of bhakthi which even performed by evil people still gives salvation (mukthi). It also gives a lot of encouragement for all the bhakthas who chant the divine name since if god is merciful to a soul like (evil)Kamsa then how lucky is a bhaktha who chants the nama of god daily. Inspite of doing lot of japa sometimes we feel that god has not been making note of our bhakthi specially at the time of suffering. But as he did to kamsa giving "fear" baya, he is making use of our past karmas to make us mature and also in the process strengthening our bhakthi. Thank you swamiji for a wonderful explanation.

Pranams Guruji
Thanks to the Namadwar team for the excellant coverage of Sivarathiri at Vittallapuram. The vittalapuram video coverage was splendid. It was a feast to the eyes and ears especially for people likes us who live far away. The Abhishekam to the Lord by Guruji was splendid. It was as though we were watching at close quarters. Thanks once again to the tireless efforts of Namadwar team.

I always look forward to Monday mails from namadwar. It is soothing and very beneficial in the path of spiritual evolution. My humble pranams. I am making a humble submission more in the interest that big mahaswamies should lead the man kind to true liberation and as a contribution of intellectual responsibility and great respect for our scriptures. Certainly, in the name of God, this is not written with an intention of criticising or complaining. This is with respect "All that matters". "No human being however knowledgeable / divine / spiritual / respected / maha swami or whatever , has got a right to amend the Smrithi / Sruthi/ puranas, because that is gift of god to man kind. i started reading bagavath geetha at the age of 5 but a confidence that i seem to have understood the "Teaching contained" dawned only when i was 55. in case i had abandoned reading earlier or in case i had misinterpreted or simplified or abridged or amended it to suit my self / my environment / my age / worldly condition of evolution, i would have missed the beautiful understanding that entire scriptures is just not viswasa (faith) or bakthi (unquestioned emotional state) but that is a beautiful GYANA - SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE THAT CAN BE EASILY UNDERSTOOD AND EXPERIENCED (Anuboothi)
The same is true with the Ramana's teaching which i started reading when i was 10 and understood when i was 50. I started reading tripura rahasyam when i was 50 and understood at 58. i am yet to understand Yagaavasista. I am yet to make attempts to understand the entire Dharma sasthra. Luckily my father has instructed me in an young age that i have a right to live by dharma or a right to ignore the dharma sasthras. But i have no right to misinterpret to suit my convenience (anarthangyam). Same applies to laws of the land. Ignorance of law is not an excuse. i have a right to abide by law or ignore. But if i ignore law and caught by law, then i will be punished. No matter i understood it differently. I pray Pujya Sri Muralidhar swami to make simple interpretations of our scriptures and dharma sasthras so that the followers are able to internalise through their thinking / learning faculties in place of "why stick to age-old, complex dogmas irrelevant and unsuited for this age" the phrase i have borrowed from the mail. We all learn a few aspects of dharama sasthras from parents / teachers / societies when we are young. We keep refining them as we learn / understand more. This is because in a secular education system, dharma sasthras are not taught in school where as Quran is the first thing that is taught in islamic countries to children. When i was about 55 i happened to see and therefore buy immediately a book title "Sankshepa dharma sasthra" What a treasure? What a beauty? Our rishis have codified so many issues of dichotomy that comes up in life to ensure overall prosperity and peace in society. (loka kalyanam). How nice it will be if respected maha swamy takes one chapter or one issue per month and elucidate for our benefit. Pranams S.Narayana
