Oh! Long lived one!
You are the fit one to tell us immediately that which has been concluded by you as the supreme good for men from the various Puranas (that you have mastered)
The Rishis address Suta as ‘आयुष्मन्‘- Long lived one ! This is an indication that they wish to hear the glories of the Lord from Suta for a long period until they perform the Yaga. They want to hear the supreme good for men from him immediately. Here, it is seen that the Sadhus are always interested in the welfare of the world and they discuss only that when they meet with one another.
