With the blessings of our Sri Sri Swamiji, Nama Prachara kicked off in Kannada language on 8th of July, 2007.

As ordained by Sri Swamiji, Sri Navin Bhat led our our first function at the residence of  Sri Sekar, Koramangala in Bangalore. He discoursed on the greatness of Nama.

Sri Sekar and Smt Kaveri Sekar became aware of Sri Swamiji from 2004 through Smt Bhuvana Kumar.  She was so much moved by Sri Swamiji’s words and staunchly followed His Upadesa.  Its no wonder that she soon started reaping the benefits of chanting the Maha Mantra.

A humble gathering of 25 people listened in rapt attention and were completely immersed in the essence of Nama Mahime that Sri Navin Bhat so beautifully explained in Kannada.

The enthusiasm of the crowd could be seen as they joined along with the satsangh members in chanting Hare Rama Mahamantra.
On July 10th, Smt Anjula of  Kaglipura Village, Sarjapura, Anekal Taluk in Bangalore played host.  About 50 devotees including elderly people and children attended the lecture by Sri Navin Bhat
The participants chanted with great enthusiasm the Maha Mantra. 

With great jubilance,  they received Sri Swamiji’s photo and promised to chant the Maha Mantra regularly.  Almost instantly many were seen even requesting to hold the next session at their place. Smt. Anjula later stated that many villagers even complained that they were not aware of the discourse.

Later a small Nagara Sankirtan was performed in the area.  More Nama Kirtan Satsangs are planned in this village.
Another Nagara Kirtan was held in the same village on 15th July between 4 and 6 pm.

On 14th July, a satsang was held at Sri Govind Singh's residence.  Sri.Govind Singh has heard several anecdotes of Sri Sri Swamiji from Sri Delhi Kumar of our satsang and has been longing to have darshan of Sri Sri Swamiji. His day would always begin with the divine name “Radhe Krishna”. He and his family have been very active in writing “RAMA Nama” on the bricks at the Sundara Hanuman Temple. On the Sundara Hanuman “Prathistha Day” he eventually had the darshan of Sri Sri Swamiji and sought His blessings.

Although, he is from the North of India, to have a “Nama Pracharam” in Kannada was a blessing for his family as they had moved into their new house recently. He invited all his colleagues & neighbors who are essentially Kannada speaking people to hear the discourse on the “Power of Bhagawan Nama”. It was well attended by about 35 people, who soaked themselves in “Sri Purandaradasa” charitram, which was so well rendered in simple and understandable Kannada by Sri Naveen Bhatt . The greatness of Nama was spoken about. The Sundara Hanuman Temple Project at Ramamurthy Nagar and the mission of “Veda Vyasa Purana Patashala was also explained.

The satsang concluded with "Hare Rama” Mahamantra chanting by one & all present .

Sri Anantharaman, Sri Gurumurthy, Sri Delhi Kumar & family participated in this pravachan from the satsang.
